Two minds.
One conviction.
No compromise.

H-Tree was built by two very different ways of thinking.

One works with precision.
One moves by intuition.

Between them, there is tension. And exactly there, the product takes shape.

Two perspectives, rarely the same.
But sharpening each other.
Not always easy.
But necessary to build something that lasts.

How it all began

340 cm ceiling. Zero acceptable options.

The first H-Tree wasn't a business idea. It was the answer to a space that just didn't feel right. Too tall for what the market offered. Too consciously designed to accept compromises.

When Narges saw him, the direction changed. Not: "Could we sell this?" But: "Can we do this right?"

We questioned everything. Discarded much. Only kept what endured — visually, structurally, over time.

“We didn’t start with a product. We started with a refusal.”

— Narges & Simon, Founders

For us, the H-Tree is more than just a product.
It is an invitation — for spaces where people and animals coexist with ease.

Something that one eventually no longer notices — because it finally belongs.

The people behind it

The H-Tree is the product of two very different worlds.

H-Tree is a two-person studio. No agency. No background team. Every decision goes through both of us — often differently, sometimes contradictorily, but always with the same aspiration.

Co-Founder · Vision

Narges

For me, H-Tree doesn't start with a product. It starts with a feeling for space. I can tell when something's not right. Even if I can't immediately explain why.

"I work intuitively. I question a lot. I don't accept things just because they're common. That doesn't make the process easier. But it makes it more honest."

Simon

Simon is an engineer. He builds with precision — and with patience. He doesn't rely on effect. But on what lasts. Every connection. Every material. Every detail is checked — even what no one will see later.

"I don't design for trends. I design for the moment when a space feels right."

Narges · Co-Founder · Vision

I am one of the founders.

Not the one who is already finished.

Not the polished version.

More instinct than structure.

More questions than certainty.

I perceive things that others overlook.

I question what is taken for granted.

Sometimes this leads to clarity.

Sometimes tension.

Both are part of the process.

H-Tree arises precisely in this space —

between control and feeling,

between what is designed,

and what simply feels right.

This is not a finished identity.

It is something I am still growing into.

I don’t trust things that only look good.

I need to understand why they last.

Why they stay.

Why they don’t fail over time.

I’ve realized that many things are designed to impress —

not to endure.

That didn’t work for me.

So I started removing everything superfluous.

Not to simplify.

But to get closer to what matters.

I work precisely.

I test.

I repeat.

I question every connection —

especially those that no one sees.

There is a certain peace in

knowing that something will last.

Even years from now.

I build for the moment when something naturally becomes part of a space.

If it feels effortless,

a lot of effort went into it.

The H-Tree isn't built to stand out.

It's built to last.

"Doing everything yourself means staying close. To every decision. To every detail."

How We Work

Designed in Berlin. Made in Europe. No step outsourced to indifference.

01

Designed in Berlin

Every proportion, every module, every material decision originates in Berlin. The high ceilings of the old buildings, which set everything in motion, are still the benchmark — furniture that deserves its vertical space.

02

Handmade in Europe

Crafted with European manufacturing partners who adhere to the same standards as if we were in the workshop ourselves. Solid beech. Real sisal. Wool felt. No synthetic material is used in the construction.

03

Modular by design

Each piece is expandable and repairable. Built to grow with the home it inhabits. The opposite of disposable — structural objects that age honestly and earn their place.

Built to stay.
By our rules.
In your home.

H-Tree exists because two people decided that the furniture they wanted didn't yet exist—and that the only honest answer to that was to build it themselves.

We don't do anything for the market. We do it until it feels right to us. And we trust that people will notice the difference.
