The H-Tree uses height, not floor space. The footprint is deliberately narrow – it requires significantly less space than its appearance suggests.

No blind spots underneath. The H-Tree has no base plate — the floor underneath remains completely clear. Books, a plant, a basket — the space is yours. And anyone who's ever tried to vacuum under a classic cat tree knows: this is different.

Screw on top
The H-Tree is inherently stable—like a ladder. To secure it against tipping, it is fastened to the wall at the top with two screws.
The screws have no load-bearing function — the construction itself bears the weight. They exclusively secure against tipping. The keyhole system is invisible from the front and can be removed without tools.
Regarding load capacity: Each platform holds 30 kg. We have even stood on it ourselves – the H-Tree didn't complain.
Yes — with the optional Window Mounting Kit (sold separately).
The kit completely replaces the two upper wall screws. Instead of attaching to the wall, the H-Tree attaches to the window — via two 75 mm industrial suction cups directly on the glass. Transparent, residue-free, no drilling.
Each suction cup has a pull-off force of 14 kg — 28 kg combined, significantly more than the weight of any H-Tree configuration.
Additional benefit: The cat gets the best position in the room — height, natural light, unobstructed view outside.

For wall mounting, a drill is necessary. Mounting hardware for standard walls is included. The H-Tree is fastened to the wall with two screws at the top.

Yes — replacement is part of the concept.
When the sisal is worn out, you only replace the scratching element — not the entire H-Tree. Each module is individually replaceable. Spare parts are available directly at htreestudio.com.
How long does the sisal last? That depends heavily on the cat — on how often they scratch, their technique, and which elements they prefer.
What we can say: when it's time, you'll know — and the rest of the H-Tree will continue to function flawlessly.
